Sister Mary Alban Bosse celebrates 102nd birthday

Sister Mary Alban Bosse, OSU, celebrated her 102nd birthday on Feb. 6 with a visit from a group of 3-year-olds from the Ursuline Child Development Center. The children presented her with a giant hand-made card, flowers, a Teddy bear and a balloon before singing “Happy Birthday.” Sister Alban became an Ursuline Sister in 1920 and is the oldest member of the Ursuline Sisters of Louisville. She is known by her fellow Ursulines as a great cook and prepared meals for the Ursuline Infirmary for years.
