Just Creations' shopping night to benefit Ursuline Sisters' Peru Mission

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (March 4, 2004) - Just Creations, a not-for-profit store featuring unique crafts by artisans in more than 35 countries, will host a Community Shopping Night to benefit the Ursuline Sisters of Louisville's Peru Mission. The store will donate 15 percent of sales made from 6 to 8 p.m. on March 23 to the mission.

The Community Shopping Night is part of the Ursuline Sisters celebration of 40 years of ministry in Peru. Since 1964, the Peru mission has served to educate children in Peru, as well as help women, men and children with a variety of programs that build self-esteem, enhance spiritual growth and teach communication and leadership skills. The Ursuline Sisters in Peru also train catechists and provide classes for skill development in areas such as sewing, natural healing, care of the earth and computers.
